On September 27, the Romanian Cultural Institute in Madrid, in collaboration with the Camões Institute in Madrid and the Austrian Cultural Forum organizes at its headquarters the screening of a

series of awarded short films, as part of the “European Week of Languages” project. Romania will be represented by the short film
Megatron (directed by
Marian Crișan), which received the Palme d`Or of the 2008 Cannes International Film Festival and the Best Short Film Award at the Stockholm International film Festival in 2008.
The EUNIC Spain cluster, in collaboration with the Representation of the European Commission in Spain organized the third edition of the project “European Week of Languages”. The theme of this edition is promoting the culture as a base for co-existing in Europe. The goal of this project is to promote the language and the culture of the participant countries. This event celebrates the linguistic diversity of a continent which counts over 200 European languages. It also marks the date of September 26, which is the day of celebrating the International Day of the European Languages.
