On Monday, November 19, 2018, during
The Different Week (November 19-23), the “Dumitru Morozan” Hall will be inaugurated at the Media Technical College, in memory of the filmmaker who was a teacher here, for many years (1983-2012).

Eng. Dumitru Morozan, alongside the cinematographers
Gheorghe Fischer and
Alexandru Întorsureanu invented the Grafis color technique, that they used for
Iulian Mihu`s feature film
Felix and Otilia.
For his innovations, Morozan received in 1972 the ACIN Award for Innvovation and process in the film technique, the Excellency Award at UNIATEC Berlin (1972) for the film
Chromatic Fantasy/
Fantezie cromatică, the Excellency Award at the International Film Technic Competition, at Salerno, 1974 – UNIATEC.
The organized event will be attended by Magda Morozan and univ.Conf.Corneliu Medvedov, students and teachers from the same college.
