During 5-16 April 2017, the 36th Edition of Istanbul International Film Festival is to unfold, the most important event of its kind in Turkey.
Romanian producer and Chairwoman of
ARTVIVA Association, Ruxandra Cernat, is invited between 9 -12 April 2017 to take part to the section
Meetings on the Bridge of the festival, dedicated to film producers and directors. For two days, on 10 and 11 April 2017, meetings will be held with Turkish filmmakers and with guests from other countries. It is the best opportunity to set up new co-productions and to pitch future cinema projects.
Artviva targets the setting up of an international network for the development, production and promotion of film projects, fiction and documentary, short and medium length, as well as of festivals, workshops and audio-visual culture events, laying the foundation of and building a professional network in Eastern Europe, and to encourage the audio-visual cooperation between European Union member and non-member States.
Istanbul Film Festival is organised by the most important Turkish cultural institution, IKSV- Istanbul Art and Culture Foundation, a significant partner of ICR Istanbul.
