The Romanian short film authors and their films are in the center of attention of the Spanish filmmakers. Romania is the guest of honor of the Short Film Week in Madrid, which takes place from April 9 to April 15. The Romanian Cultural Institute in Madrid supports the presence of a Romanian delegation made of Adrian Silișteanu (director, cinematographer and script writer) and of the programmers Oana Ghera and Massimiliano Nardulli, as well as four Romanian short films.

The day of April 13 is dedicated to Romania, through two events dedicated both to the audience and to the film industry professionals. The short films
Megatron (directed by
Marian Crișan),
Written/Unwritten / Scris/Nescris (directed by
Adrian Silișteanu),
First Night/ Prima noapte (directed by Andrei Tănase) and
One Night in Tokoriki/ O noapte în Tokoriki (directed by
Roxana Stroe) will be screened at the Estudio Cinema of the legendary Madrid institution Círculo de Bellas Artes.
The short film session will be followed by a discussion with all the members of the Romanian delegation; the main purpose is to speak to the Spanish professionals about the way the Romanian film industry works and especially about the short film production and distribution. Oana Ghera and Massimiliano Nardulli will also attend other meetings dedicated to the short film festival programmers. Adrian Silișteanu will introduce the film
Written/Unwritten / Scris/Nescris, which recently received the Gopo Award for Best Short Film.
