Romania, special guest of “Pantalla Pinamar” Film Festival

     Romania is one of the special guests to the 13th Edition of “Pantalla Pinamar” Film Festival (11-18 March 2017).

     Three Romanian features are to be screened at the Festival: Bacalaureat / Graduation (directed by Cristian Mungiu), De ce eu? / Why Me? (Tudor Giurgiu) and Dublu Double (directed by Catrinel Dănăiață). The Romanian guests - actress Lia Bugnar and film critic Mihai Fulger (Editor in Chief and former Director of the National Film Archives – Romanian Cinematheque) – will attend the Romanian film screenings and two press conferences on Graduation and, respectively, on the actuality of Romanian cinema.      The Festival will also include a reception offered in honour of the Romanian guests, with the participation of INCAA management, of the Festival's director, of Pinamar Mayor, and of high officials from the Argentina's Ministry of Culture.
     On 16 March 2017, the Cinematography University in Buenos Aires (Universidad del Cine) and the Romanian Embassy will organise a masterclass about the New Romanian Cinema.
