The Retrospective of the International Independent Film Festival
ANONIMUL is to unfold in Bucharest, at ARCUB Hall, between 1 – 3 September. The event is set up with the support of the Bucharest Town Hall, through ARCUB.

The Retrospective includes 5 of the 6 films in the competition, among which
Marița,
the feature film debut by director Cristi Iftime (3 September, at 20.00). The other titles of the programme are:
Quality Time (directed by Daan Bakker – Friday, 1 September, at 19.00),
Las hijas de Abril / April's Daughters (
directed by Michel Franco – 1 September, at 21.00),
Burning Birds (directed by Sanjeewa Pushpakumara – Saturday, 2 September, at 17.00),
Sexy Durga (directed by Sanal Kumar Sasidharan – Saturday, 2 September, at 21.00),
The Nobodies (directed by Juan Sebastian Mesa – Sunday, 3 September, at 16.00).
The Romanian and international short competition may be seen in Bucharest this week-end. The award-winning films, following the votes of the audience of Sfântu Gheorghe, will be screened on Sunday, 3 September, starting at 20.00: Best Foreign Short –
State of Emergency Motherfucker (directed by Sébastien Petretti), Best Romanian Short –
Scris / Nescris / Written/Unwritten (directed by
Adrian Silișteanu), Ovidiu Bose Paștină Award –
Il silenzio / The Silence (directed by Farnoosh Samadi & Ali Asgari) and the ANONIMUL Trophy –
Marița (directed by Cristi Iftime).
