On Sunday, Anim`est invites you to watch
Marnie’s World, starting with 12:00, at the Elvire Popesco Cinema. Marnie, a spoiled cat, has a life which is more than comfortable, but soon she will find herself lost in the dangerous world outside.
At the Point, starting with 19:00, you can see the fifth group of short films from the Avant-garde & Experimental retrospective, films that explore new limits in animation, grouped chronologically – from the pioneers of the genre to contemporary productions.
Teheran Tabu is a tender and funny exploring of the hypocrisy and the contradictions of a political system: the young people of Teheran do everything they can to live freely, despite the strict religious laws of Iran. The film is scheduled at the
Elvire Popesco Cinema, from 20:00.
From 18:30 the short films which were awarded at the 2018 Anim`est competition are scheduled at the Eforie Cinematheque and from 20:30, the winning feature film will be screened.
