The project „Victus”, by Andrei Tănase, Wins at the Torino Film Lab Meeting Event

     Victus is the first feature film project that the director Andrei Tănase will develop together with Anamaria Antoci, for the production company Domestic Film.
     Vera is a veterinarian at a small zoo in Transilvania. After losing her new-born baby and after discovering that her husband is cheating on her, Vera has a nervous breakdown which leads to the situation in which, by mistake, she lets a tiger loose. Walking the streets in the search of the tiger, alongside her husband and the authorities, she faces her problems and feelings.
11 projects from the FeatureLab program were awarded at the Torino Film Lab Meeting Event in November. Victus received the award for production, of 80,000 Euro, that it will share with Unrest (directed by Cyril Schäublin, Switzerland).
