Between 1-3 September, the last stage of ROMANIA FILM FESTIVAL will take place in Rome, part of the EFFETTO NOTTE event, carried out during the summer at Casa del Cinema.

Romania Film Festival will present seven films in premiere in Rome (three features, three documentaries and a short), a photo exhibition trademark of Agerpres, debates with Romanian directors and producers and a meeting with Fabio Barone, Italian holder a of Guinness World Record closely related to Romania.
On 1 September, the event will kick off with the documentary
România, drumul de la patimi la lumină/Romania, the Road from Passions to Light, made by Agerpres National Press Agency. The film will be presented by the Agency's general manager, Alexandru Giboi.
The Festival is also to pay homage to sculptor Constantin Brâncuşi, on the anniversary of 140 years since his birth. The anniversary is marked by the image chosen for the official

poster – representing the „Infinity Column”, and by the screening, on 2 September, of two films on the artist's life. The first will be the documentary
Constantin Brâncuși - Coloana sau Lecția despre infinit/Constantin Brâncuși – the Column or the Lesson on Infinity (directed by
Laurențiu Damian), and the second will be
Brâncuşi din eternitate/Brâncuși from Eternity, with director
Adrian Popovici and producer Cornelia Palos in attendance.
The programme also provides for the
directing debut of actress Kristina Cepraga, through the screening of her short,
Tamara Echelon. The director will attend the event.
On 3 September, the organisers prepared a surprise for the fans of speed records and of amazing landscapes. The documentary pregatit o surpriză pentru fanii recordurilor de viteză şi a peisajelor uluitoare. The documentary
Ultima provocare/Final Challenge will be screened, made by Sante Paolacci about Fabio Barone, who, in 2015, entered the Book of Records after crossing the Transfăgărășean behind the wheel of a Ferrari 458, in 9’13”442. Sante Paolacci and Fabio Barone will attend the screening.
Also on 3 September,
Loverboy (directed by
Cătălin Mitulescu) and
Aferim! (directed by
Radu Jude) will be screened.
