This week end, the Romanian short film
First Strike/Prima lovitură received the Brittany Council Award at the Brest European Short Film Award (November 6 to 11, 2018).
Directed by Peter Kerek, the short film tells the story of an imaginary fight of a little boy who tries to stop a car accident by using the power of his imagination.
Peter Kerek is known for many theatre, film, advertising and TV projects. The shootings were very challenging for him,
especially because he worked with his two kids, Oskar and Mathilda.
The screenplay and the direction are signed by Peter Kerek, the cinematographer is
George Dăscălescu. Andu Radu is the film editor and the sound design was signed by Aurelian Stoleriu. The producers are Alexandru Teodorescu and
Oana Iancu.
