The first lesson from the “Films for college students” programme, October 2015

The film education project “Films for college students” had its first session on October the 20th, at Elvira Popescu Cinema Hall. The film that was presented to the college students was Vielen Dank fürnichts.Its directors are Oliver Paulus (a film directing graduate) and Stefan Hillenbrand, whose specialities are criminology and psychiatry.In the organizers` opinion, the film may represent a good starting point for a debate about prejudices against disabled people and about juvenile delinquency, verbal or physical in different social groups.
The discussions after the screening were moderated by the actress Carmen Lopăzan, who answered a few questions we asked her about this programme.
“Films for College Students” is an initiative of the Macondo Association, in collaboration with the Magic Lantern, which develops many activities related to the film education in Switzerland.
