This week, the Cinepub platform brings two short visual experiments, produced by “IL Caragiale” UNATC. Both of them are the directors` interpretations of quotes from two poets: Mihai Eminescu and Nichita Stănescu.
The Lesson about Circle is an animated film made by Ștefan Morozan and
Ocelli, directed by Gerhard Dudu, is inspired by a quote from “Poor Dionis”.
In
Ocelli, a fly wants to eat in a hostile world, too big for it. The short film revolves around a quote from Mihai Eminescu: “Who knows if we are not actually living in a microscopic world and only the nature of our eyes makes us see it the size we do?” Time and space don`t exist anymore and the pain of the entire human kind is perceived by a fly in its microscopic world.
The Lesson about Circle, a short film narrated by Nichita Stănescu, distinguishes itself by means of a dance of the playful forms, about possibilities and creativity. With discreet transitions, full of imagination, applied in different formats, the creator shows us the possibilities of a circle and the idea of perfection.
