Premiere of “Glass-painted Icons – Support and Power” at the Farmers Museum Cinema

     On Thursday, 6 April, at 18.30, the Video Art Studio of the Ministry of Culture and National Identity, in cooperation with the GoPo Production Studio, are setting up the premiere of the documentary film Icoana pe sticlă – Reazem și putere / Glass-Painted Icons – Support and Power (from the cycle Țara Făgărașului, the Land of Open Skies), directed by Raluca Jurcovan.

     The screening will be held at Horia Bernea Hall – National Farmers Museum Cinema.
     The film brings to the collective memory the image of representative icon-makers from the Făgăraș area both by presenting their work, and through the expert's eye - a passionate researcher, Dr. Elena Băjenaru, General Manager of Valer Literat Țara Făgărașului Museum.
