Rodica Lazăr and
Tudor Chirilă are the protagonists of
Live, a film about television, ratings, controversial political figures, stenographs, loads of money and a file that must be buried. “The press must shut up!”, one of the film characters says. Ema (Rodia Lazăr), a successful TV anchor at a national channel, the star of a tabloid show greatly appreciated by the audience, cannot accept this verdict. A complex character, she does not hesitate to risk her health or money for a higher rating. She ends up in the middle of a huge scandal that will dramatically change her life.
Mircea Badea and Mircea Geoană are playing themselves in the film, thus introducing us live in the Romanian political and TV life.
