The Cinepub premiere this week is
Ionaș Dreams of Rain / Ionaș visează că plouă, a documentary signed by Dragoș Hanciu, written and produced during the Aristoteles Workshop 2017.

“The biggest danger is the sleep. Ionaș knows that he cannot be aware of anything, except his dreams. The conflict is born out of his inner turmoil, fueled with recurrent dreams of his dead father. He believes that his dreaming about dead people will bring rain, which almost every time comes along with the boars. Though his battle with the sleep and with the boars may seem small, for his nocturnal existence, it is essential. Ionaș fights a battle with time that he cannot defeat, realizing in the end that he is just a simple man”. Dragoș Hanciu.
Dragoș Hanciu spent half his life skateboarding; this is how he came into contact with photography first and then with the film. He is part of the new wave of young Romanian filmmakers. He was born in 1993, in Orăștie, he graduated film directing at U.N.A.T.C. Bucharest. His first documentary,
Brudina (about two men who have a mobile bridge / Charon`s skiff) received a Gopo nomination for the Best Documentary Short Film category two years ago. His second film,
Ionaș Dreams of Rain won the award of the Aristoteles Workshop during the 11th edition, when it was made.
