A man who is in love starts writing his own love story on the pages of the book „Jean d’Agrève” (1898), written by Marie-Eugène-Melchior de Vogüé. It was 1918 when he was a prisoner. Starting from his brief notes, the story gradually reveals not only the unhappiness of a man in love, but also other biographical details. His name is Fănică and he is a war prisoner at Severin, in a prison under German-Hungarian control. But this detail doesn`t seem to concern him.
