Out of the 59 European films selected in the Go Short Short Film Festival in Nijmegen (Netherlands), two of them are Romanian productions:
The Afghanistans / Afganistanii, directed by
Adrian 
Silișteanu, with a screenplay written by him together with Claudia Silișteanu and
The Seagull / Pescărușul, written and
directed by
Maria Popistașu and
Alex Baciu.
The 11th edition of the festival will take place from April 3 to 9, 2019. The winners of the categories fiction, documentary and animation can qualify for the Oscars.
