„Ceaușescu’s Orphans, after 20 Years” – at ICR Bucharest

     On Wednesday, 30 March, 2016, from 3.00 pm, at the Romanian Cultural Institute (ICR) in Bucharest, the event „Ceaușescu's Orphans, after 20 Years” will be held, which will include book presentations, documentary features' screenings and the view day for the exhibition with the same title.

     At the opening, poets Nicolae Avram and Claudiu Komartin are to deliver speeches, and afterwards the documentary feature L'enfant du diable. Bande annonce will be screened, made by Ursula Wernly Fergui. The film follows the destiny of a little girl abandoned in an orphanage during Ceaușescu's regime, and adopted by a French family later in the '80. After 25 years, she returns to Romania trying to find her biological parents. The screening will be attended by the heroine of the story, Marion Le Roy Dagen.
     The event is being set up by the Federeii Association, in partnership with ICR and the Max Blecher Publishing House.
