The One World Romania International Documentary and Human Rights Festival postpones its 13th edition, which should have taken place from March 20 to 29, 2020. Please find below the press release sent by the organizers:
„Dear friends,
After carefully analyzing the situation regarding the evolution of the COVID-19 epidemic, including the measures taken by the authorities and taking into consideration the aspects involved in taking this decision, we regretfully inform you that we have to postpone the 13th edition of the One World Romania festival, which was initially scheduled to take place from March 20 to 29. Though the implications for all parties – guests, partners, the festival team – are significant and the decision affects us majorly, logistically and financially (a situation that we share with all the other cultural associations and institutions affected by the actual crisis), we consider that this is the correct and responsible choice in the actual context.
We would like to thank all the festival partners, guests and friends for their understanding and for supporting us these days. We are determined to start again the organizing of this edition as soon as possible and we will shortly let you know a new festival period (in May or June), in which we intend to move the festival and the new program and locations.
We are looking forward to seeing each other again, in good health, with joy and very eager to watch documentary films.

The press release announces also that the tickets and festival passes that were already purchased will still be valid – the number of entries will be reset, in order to allow the seats reservations when the screenings will be rescheduled. After announcing the new schedule, the tickets can be changed by sending an email to Eventbook (office@eventbook.ro).
The people who want to get the refund for their festival passes or of the tickets, should announce 28 days from this announcement by email to office@eventbook, mentioning the order number.
