Coordinated by European Film Promotion, Future Frames: Ten New Filmmakers to Follow is a platform dedicated to promoting European young promising directors. The programme is to unfold over three days (2 – 5 July), during which student films or films produced right after graduation are to be brought to the attention of the industry and the press through events and screenings.
Bones for Otto is one of the 10 shorts presented at Future Frames. The film was premiered last year at the Romanian Film Days (TIFF 2016), when the director
sat down for an interview with the AaRC team attending the event.
To the competition section of the Karlovy Vary three other Romanian films were also selected:
Marița (directed by
Cristi Iftime),
Breaking News (directed by
Iulia Rugină) and
Ouăle lui Tarzan / Tarzan's Testicles (directed by
Alexandru Solomon).
