A Chinese e-book version of the book “A Short History of Romanian Cinema” published by
Marian Țuțui in 2012, at the NOI Publishing House in Beijing. The book was translated by the university assistant Wang Yao from the Beijing Film University, who had his Ph.D with the thesis The New Wave Romanian Cinema.

Marian Țuțui`s work is a short presentation of the film evolution in Romania, starting with the first film production which took place on May 27, 1896 (five months after the Louis and Auguste Lumière showed the world the wonder of the moving photographs, at the Grand Café in Paris.) until the success of the New Wave which includes actors and directors who confirmed their talent and value in the country and abroad.
