A double student premiere on Cinepub: “Honeymoon” & “Wedding Duet”

     The UNATC - Cinepub partnership continues, bringing rare, school films - that are not easily accessible or unknown to the public - to the viewers from all over the world. This week the platform offers a double premiere – Honeymoon, 

     In Romanian cinema the special events in our human life such as the baptism, the wedding and the funeral are gradually transformed into areas to observe and exploit. Like a painting, these events open and reflect a world of their own, a singular world, which retains in their essence so many problems, so many things that need to be said at the right time with the right person.

     Most of the times this fusion doesn`t work or does not exist from the very beginning, so as a result, they turn into moments full of tension, instability and noise.

In Honeymoon, the wedding becomes the symbolic context in which a brother and a sister fight with what they each feel for the new life chosen by their mother and in Wedding Duet, the wedding becomes the symbolic context in which the newly married couple fight without any reason and question the decisions they took at the

altar that day.
