The Israeli organizers selected in the official competition of the festival
TLV Fest – the LGBT International Film Festival (June 5-15), the Romanian film
Monsters / Monștri. (2019, directed by:
Marius Olteanu), in premiere in Israel. The film will have two more screenings at the Cinematheque of Tel Aviv, on June 9 and 15, 2019, with the support of ICR Tel Aviv. Other screenings of the Romanian film
will take place on June 26, 2019 at 20:30, at the cinematheques of Haifa and Holon.
The production, the only Romanian film present at the Berlin International Film festival this year, received the Audience Award of the jury of the
Tagesspiegel magazine readers – one of the six independent juries that give annual prizes during the Berlinale. The film represents Marius Olteanu`s feature film directorial debut.
TLVFest – theLGBT International Film Festival is organized with the support of the Ministry of Culture and Sport in Israel, the Tel Aviv Cinematheque and the LGBTQ Center.
