This week,
the 6th masterclass organized by the Student Hub took place at the POINT, offering us a new opportunity to learn from the experience of the film industry professionals.
This time again all the seats were full; many students and young people passionate about the film industry came, eager to find out how the films reach the audience. POINT, the new home of the
masterclasses organized by ADFR through the platform Student Hub, hosted one of the most successful events organized so far – more than 70 students and film lovers took part in it. Cătălin Anchidin, one of the most appreciated communication specialists of the local film industry, shared with the participants his professional experience, explaining what PR means and what the film distribution marketing means, how you communicate, how you widen your target and also, how you face your failure.
In a very relaxed atmosphere, the participants were encouraged to express their questions and curiosities, in a direct dialogue with our guest. We had man challenging questions that Cătălin answered with case studies from his previous experience. This month`s masterclass ended with a series of practical and useful advice for the ones who want to take the first steps into a film career.
Student Hub is a platform dedicated to the film and arts students, started by the Association for the Romanian Film Development. It intends to organize events of professional development, where the students have the chance to meet film professionals and to discover the secrets of their job, by means of the experience they have.
