On Friday, January, 26, 2018, Trinitas TV releases the documentary
Dinu Lipatti, music and genius, at the ICR Bucharest headquarters, Aleea Alexandru, no.38, sector 1.
During the event the partnership between Trinitas TV and the Romanian Cultural Institute (ICR) will be officially announced.
The film is part of the “Memorial Houses” campaign and intends to bring to the attention of the audience the life and work of the Romanian musician. From his house in Bucharest, and his estate in Fundățeanca, to the Conservatory in Geneva, the film shows undiscovered things about Dinu Lipatti, one of the greatest piano players of the 20th century. The documentary includes interviews with the late musicologist and professor Viorel Cosma, the pianist and composer Corneliu Gheorghiu, one of Dinu Lipatti`s friends and studies colleagues, the biographer Grigore Bărgăuanu, as well as other specialists.
The management of the two institution will attend the event, as well as members of the Diplomatic corps accredited to Bucharest, notable personalities of the Romanian cultural world and Romanian and foreign journalists.
