This summer, Kinedok powered by One World Romania is going to set up 36 screenings of documentary features on nature, freedom, music and friendship.
On the list of documentaries brought by Kinedok, there are two Romanian films:
Toto și surorile lui/Toto and His Sisters (directed by
Alexander Nanau) and
Roboțelul de aur/Golden Robot (directed by Mihai Dragolea, Radu Mocanu).
The most broadcast documentary of July is
America (Czech Republic, 2015), presenting a universal story about the ideal of freedom. Bára, daughter of Czech immigrants living in Canada, returns to the Czech Republic in order to get to know her parents' native country. Honza is a musician from Prague who dreams to go to New York and follow in Bob Dylan's footsteps. The feature follows their road full of fantasy to freedom, a journey through woods, passing by camp fires and under the open sky.
