Let`s Go Digital! continues to discover new generations of filmmakers at the Transilvania International Film Festival (May 25 – June 3, 2018). The film workshop dedicated to the teenagers, reaches its 16th edition this year.
The teenagers (14 to 18 years old) from all over the country, who are passionate about cinema, photography and film editing, have the opportunity to spend 10 days in the company of some film professionals, during the most

important film festival in Romania. Ever since 2005, when this program started, more than 200 teenagers took their first steps into the film world with the help of TIFF.
Many of the LGD participants from the previous editions embraced a film career and graduated film schools and now are shooting, editing, directing, acting, organizing festivals or write about the film wolrd. The teenagers who are passionate about film will spend 10 days at TIFF; during these days they will go through all the stages of making a film, from choosing the topic and writing the script, to shooting and editing. Under the guidance of some experts, the participants will have the chance to practice their abilities for a future career in film, having access to professional gear and to the events of the festival.
Following the submissions, 15 participants will be selected by the team of trainers that will hold the workshop in Cluj-Napoca. The teenagers will work in teams of three members, starting from a given theme. Three “seniors”, former Let`s Go Digital! participants will return during this edition to guide the beginners and to do the workshop “making-of”.
The TIFF audience will watch the 5 LGD short films and will choose the best one of this edition. The winning film will be given the award during one closing gala, on the day before the TIFF closing day.
The submissions are opened until April 22, 2018.
