The 2018 UrbanEye Film Festival takes place from November 7 to 11, putting together films and side events about urban life, design, architecture and the environment we live in.
For the 5th edition of the festival, until July 30, the film lovers, the production companies or the independent filmmakers can submit their films that have as their theme the urban life or architecture. The films that can be submitted can be fiction films, documentaries, animations or experimental films, in which the city, the architecture or the urban life are the main characters or settings with dramaturgical role in the narrative construction. The best submitted films will be watched during the festival.
It is the first edition of the festival when the call for entries is addressed o production from all over the world, not only Romania.
UrbanEye is a festival dedicated to those interested in understanding the environment they live in. The carefully selected films question aspects regarding the urban life and they give the audience the chance to discover or to go deeper into new ideas and approaches.

During the previous four editions of the UrbanEye so far, the program of the festival offered the audience films about living, heritage, sustainability, design, urban development and many more.
The UrbanEye Film Festival is a project of the ARTA in dialogue Association, a cultural project co-financed by the National Cultural und Administration and by the Architects Order in Romania, from the architecture stamp.
