The Filmmakers Union (UCIN) will grant its yearly awards later in April this year to productions that were premiered between 1 January – 31 December 2016.
The call for entries refers to fiction and documentary feature films, fiction short and medium-length, documentary shorts, animation films, including Romanian majority co-productions.
The registration is done between 9 - 27 February 2017, by filling out the form available on UCIN site. The form must be submitted to Filmmakers Union's headquarters, together with copies of the film (5 DVDs) and a demo or a set of representative images. An author may participate with only one production.
This year's edition will have two juries: one for nominations made up of film critics and historians, members of the Filmmakers Union, and the jury of the current edition made up of personalities of the Romanian cultural world.
