The 13th edition of the Animation Worksheep, the only intensive animation worksheep from Romania, expects a new generation of participants between September 6 to 28, 2019, at the International Center for Research and Education in Innovative Creative Technologies – CINETic in Bucharest.
During the autumn edition, we will work on an animated and interactive graphic novel. Combining sequential narration, animation and interactivity, we`ll obtain an original and unique product in the Romanian audio-visual space.
The participants will learn more about different animation technoques, such as 2D drawn/digital, 3D, stop-motion or cut-out, using the latest technologies, as well as elements of storytelling and editing, similar to the working process in the established animation studios.
The final product is thought of as a complex audio-visual experience. The animation and the visuals will be enhanced by a sound design and an original soundtrack, all in an interactive graphical interface.
The applicants should be young people from Romania and the Republic of Moldova, over 18. We are mostly interested in young animators at the beginning of theor career, students and newly-graduates. They should send an e-mail to ion@estenest.ro, including a CV, the portfolio and a letter of intention; the deadline is August 20.
There is no participation fee.
The Animation Worksheep is a project organized by the ESTENEST Cultural Association, led by Vlad Ilicevici, who has been the administrative director of the Anim`est International Animation Film Festival for 11 years.
