One World Romania has opened the application process for the latest documentaries on human rights, the deadline being 1 December, 2015.
One World Romania 10 will take place from 13-19 March, 2017, in Bucharest, Romania. One World Romania (OWR) is the first documentary film in Bucharest and the only human rights festival in România. OWR is an essential platform for Romanian and international documentary filmmakers interested in human rights issues. The Festival is looking for projects exploring human rights themes through documentary films and, most recently, through various forms of art and media.
This year, for the first time, OWR opened his entry process not only for documentaries, but also for interactive documentary projects. OWR is looking for innovative audio-visual works telling non-fictional stories on human rights through methods going beyond film's limitations: docu-games or VR, tans-media platforms and installations.
The projects entered must be submitted with English subtitles and must have been published after January, 2015. Unfinished works may be entered only with the previous agreement by the Festival's organisers.
