On Friday, 29 April, 2016, at 19.00, The Romanian Embassy in Portugal and the Romanian Cultural Institute in Lisbon will continue the “At Home“ series.

This time, the guests will be
Oana Pellea, Cristina Casian and Barbu Ollănescu-Orendi, the event taking place “At Home, with the Ollănești boyars and with Amza Pellea“. The event is to take place at the headquarters of the Romanian Cultural Institute in Lisbon - 8-10 Rua do Barão.
Within this event, three books published by Humanitas Publishing House are to be presented: “Jurnal 2003-2009” (“Diary 2003-2009), by Oana Pellea, “Să rîdem cu Nea Mărin” (“Let's laugh with Uncle Mărin”) by
Amza Pellea and “Aşa a fost să fie. Amintiri din anii mei buni şi răi” (“That's how it was meant to be. Recollections of my years, good and bad”) by Barbu Ollănescu-Orendi.
Née Policrat, the mother of Oana Pellea was forced by the Communist regime when she was 12 years old to live with her parents in Craiova. During this period, when Domnica was 21 years old, she met Amza Pellea, and they were married in 1958. Barbu Ollănescu-Orendi, the uncle of Oana Pellea, was born in 1934, in a family with old roots in Wallachia.
