Adrian Lustig team up again to bring on screen the story of
Luca, a young expat who returned to the country 20 years later. Luca Plătici, played by
István Téglás, discovers a world that he doesn`t recognize anymore. With the help of Giulia (
Mădălina Craiu) and of other people from his former life, he succeeds in processing the ghosts of his past and in finding the meaning of his existence.
Directed by Horațiu Mălăele, Luca is a captivating story dedicated to the large audience, told with the tools of one of the most long-lasting theatre and film authors, combining elements of thriller, comedy and adventure. The film features Istvan Teglas,

George Dăscălescu is the film cinematographer. The shootings took place from September 5 to October 4, 2017 in Bucharest and Buftea.
Luca is a co-production of Contemporary Theatre Foundation and Movie Production Entertainment. The producers are Adrian Lustig and Cristina Dobrițoiu.
