At the 15th Edition of TIFF (27 May – 5 June), film lovers will have the opportunity to view 10 titles of the Lithuanian cinematography: representative films of the latest five years, restored classical films, and also three of the features of the most renowned Lithuanian filmmaker, Šarūnas Bartas, invited to Cluj at the 3x3 section.

Director Šarūnas Bartas, together with his daughter, actress Ina Marija Bartaité, and with producer Jurga Dikčiuvienė will come to Cluj to talk with the audience about the film
Peace to Us in our Dreams. The other two features of his TIFF mini-retrospective are
Freedom and
One of Us.
Within the Lithuanian Focus, film lovers will have the opportunity to view the multiple-award-winner
Vanishing Waves (directed by Kristina Buozyte), a sci-fi with dark touches about human psyche and about the impossible love story between a scientist and a comatose patient. Co-directors Maxì Dejoie and Virginija Vareikytė will present the controversial documentary
When We Talk about KGB, and the screening of
The Gambler (directed by Ignas Jonynas),

Lithuania's proposal to the 2014Oscar, will be attended by Vytautas Kaniušonis, who plays the role of an ambulance driver whose weakness for gambling puts the patients' lives in danger.
Igrushki is a documentary about the inhabitants of a small Belarus town, who sell teddy bears illegally to train travellers, and
Master and Tatyana is a documentary feature about the eccentric photographer Vitus Luckus, considered one of the most influential Lithuanian artists. The directors of the two features, Lina Lužytė and Giedrė Žickytė, will be present in Cluj.
Two of the classical Lithuanian films will have unique screenings in digitally restored copies,
Beauty (1969) and
Feelings (1968), the latter being voted in 1995 as The Best All Time Lithuanian Film. Screenings will be also held for the features
The Brig (directed by Jonas Mekas),
2 Nights Till Morning (directed by Mikko Kuparinen). There will also be a concert:
Garbanotas Bostistas (28 May, at 22.00, at the TIFF House).
