„Son of Saul” in theatres starting on March 11th

     Son of Saul (Saul fia), 2016 Oscar-winner for Best Foreign Language Film, is to be premiered in Romanian theatres on Friday, 11 March, 2016.

     Two preview screenings are to be held on March 9th and 10th at Elvira Popescu Cinema, the events being attended by the Romanian actor Levente Molnár, who stars in an important role in the full-length feature Son of Saul.
     The film is the feature debut of director László Nemes and is distributed in Romanian theatres by Transilvania Film.
     Son of Saul  will be scheduled during the first week in 25 theatre halls of 11 cities: Bucharest (Hollywood Multiplex, Grand Cinema & More, Cinema City AFI Cotroceni, Cinema City Mega Mall, Cinema City Sun Plaza, Movieplex, Farmers' Museum Cinema, Cinema PRO, Cinema Union, Cinema Elvira Popesco – the preview screenings for general audience in the presence of actor Levente Molnár on March 9th, 10:15 pm, and on March 10th, 10:15 pm, Arad (Cinema City Atrium Arad), Bârlad (Cityplex), Brașov (Cinema One), Brăila (Cinema City Brăila), Cluj (Cinema Victoria – gala show attended by actor Levente Molnár on March 11th, at 8:00 and 10:30 pm -, Cinema City Iulius Cluj), Constanța (Cityplex, Cinema City Constanța – Park), Odobești  (Cinema Odobești), Oradea (Palace Oradea, Cortina Digiplex), Ploiești (Cinema City - Shopping City Ploiești), Târgu Mureș (Cinema City Târgu Mureș, Arta Târgu Mureș), Gura Humorului (the Cultural Centre of Gura Humorului).
     Son of Saul is a feature that won over 40 awards. It was honoured with the Grand Prize of the Jury and the FIPRESCI Award at the Cannes International Film Festival  and was distinguished as the Best Foreign Language Film at this year's Edition of the Golden Globes.
