Between 22-27 November, the 14th edition of the International Film Festival with Jewish Thematic will be held in Warsaw, set up by the Foundation “Camera of David”.

The Festival has an important place in the cultural mosaic that is the city of Warsaw, and hosts fiction films and documentaries dedicated to exploring the culture, history and way of life of the Jewish communities all over the world, showing the audience what is the Jewish cultural tradition, an intrinsic element of the European multicultural family.
Romania will take part to the Festival with a medallion Radu Gabrea, and with the film by
Oana Giurgiu,
Aliyah DaDa. The screenings of the Romanian films will be held with the Romanian directors attending.
The selection by
Radu Gabrea, including the features:
Cocoşul decapitat/Beheaded Rooster,
Evrei de vânzare/Jews for Sale and
Moştenirea lui Goldfaden/Goldfaden's
Inheritance, will be presented on 23 and 24 November, each of the screening being followed by meeting of the director with the audience. On the evening of 24 November, Radu Gabrea will be paid homage to by the Polish organisers through granting him the Award
Honorary Camera of David, for making landmark films on the Jews' life. The film
Aliyah DaDa will be screened on 26 November and will be followed by a Q&A session with Oana Giurgiu.
The Festival is held in the spaces of the POLIN Museum – The History Museum of the Polish Jews, which was recently granted the Award for the Best European Museum of the Year.
