    RFF 2023 is organized by the Embassy of Romania to the United States and Romanian Cultural Institute in New York / ICR New York, at the Landmark's E Street Cinema in Washington, DC and with the generous support of the sponsors from Romania: Banca Transilvania, BCR, CEC Bank, Dedeman, Kaufland, EximBank, One, Hidroelectrica, Lidl, EMag.
     The festival is part of an ample cultural program dedicated to the Romania-United States Strategic Partnership: „Romania – United States, a Partnership for the Future – Celebrating Romanian talent”.
     One of the largest events of its kind in North America, The Romanian Film Festival of Washington, D.C. (RFF) kicks off at E Street Cinema on November 2nd, 2023, under the already consecrated motto “Reinventing Realism — New Cinema from Romania”.
     The most important Romanian cultural cinematographic event in the United States, RFF 2023 showcases the creative diversity of a cinema that has become a force on the international arthouse circuit. Curated by Romanian film critic Mihai Fulger, the program, running for four consecutive days, features 6 of the most original and thought-provoking productions. Romanian directors, actors and film critics will cross the Atlantic to introduce their films and meet with the American cinephiles.
