“The Road of Kings – Transalpina” at the Folklore Festival “Up on the Jina Mountain”

     The preview screening of the feature  Drumul Regilor – Transalpina/ The Road of Kings – Transalpina, directed by Dumitru Budrala, will be held on Saturday, 30 July, 2016, from 22:00, at the Folklore Festival “Up on the Jina Mountain” (“Sus pe muntele din Jina”), that reached its 46th Edition.
     The film is to be presented on a huge open-air screen, in an unconventional location - Șesul Jinarilor, and the screening will be attended by director Dumitru Budrala.
     The Road of Kings – Transalpina, the most awaited-for feature by the Sibiu-based director Dumitru Budrala, is to be officially released in September. The film originated in the director's lifelong fascination with the Road of Kings, where fantasy, mythological stories and sublime landscape accompany the traveller every step of the way that winds through the Carpathians connecting Transylvania to Oltenia. Dumitru Budrala creates a unique audio-visual experience, the stupendous aerial shots being perfectly complemented by the director's voice-off, exploring the mythological heritage of the place from ancient times to present days.   
     The documentary is to be officially released in September of this year.
