The creative documentary film screenings trademark of KineDok are carried on in Romania, but also in the other countries taking part to this project – the Czech Republic, Croatia, Slovakia, Hungary, Poland and Norway.
In October, KineDok powered by One World Romania is holding 34 screenings all over the country. The most screened documentary will be
My Father, the Banker, the touching story of a man who loses himself in a time of change, and of his daughter who hopes to find him again after 15 years. From time to time, the film has comical touches through the narrative style chosen by Latvian director Ieva Ozolina.
The Romanian documentaries included in the programme are
Toto și surorile lui/Toto and His Sisters (directed by
Alexander Nanau) and
Roboțelul de aur/Golden Robot (directed by Mihai Dragolea, Radu Mocanu).
Each screening invites the audience, alongside filmmakers, protagonists and industry experts, to free, casual talks on current topics. Admission will be free of charge to all screenings.
