Docuart Brings the Romanian Documentary to Street Delivery

On June 16, Docuart will screen more Romanian documentaries at Street Delivery, at 9 o`clock p.m., behind the Anglican Church,
The four short and medium-length documentaries are Spații abandonate (directed by József László, 2018, 21 min), Cutezătorii (directed by Tudor Botezatu, 2018, 28 min), Reșița pe film (directed by Andrei Florin Bălărău, 2017, 31min) and Rătăciți printre cuvinte (directed by Vera Belocris, 2018, 8 min).
Spații abandonate tells the story of the abandoned buildings in Transilvania. The things forgotten here still keep the memories of the past, without knowing for how long. At the 2018 edition of the Bucharest Docuart Fest the film received the Best Editing Award.
Cutezătorii tells the story of the moral weariness of the craftsmen in Bucharest, while Reșița pe film presents the testimonies of three amateur directors from Caraș-Severin. Together with the discovery of the Optic ’76 archive, Francis Csonka, Emil Mateiaş și Doru Marcu are reconnected with the works they had done un the past.
The last screening of the series is signed by Vera Berlocris: Rătăciți printre cuvinte is a short film which documents the story of a Russian-speaking girl who attends the only high school with teaching in Romanian from her town in Transnistria (a separate area of the Republic of Moldova.
With this initiative, Docuart joins Street Delivery and brings the Romanian documentary closer to the young audience. The Romanian documentary, a form of visual poetry, is aligned to the theme of this year`s edition; the association constantly makes uit accessible to the audience, wishing to promote this film sector in our country.
     The access is free.
