„Copilăria unui lider” închide Cinepolitica 2016

The Childhood of a Leader, the directorial full-length debut of actor Brady Corbet, a Great Britain-Hungary-France co-production, winner of two awards at the Venice 2015 Film Festival, will close the fifth edition of Cinepolitica International Film Festival (13 – 17 April).
Brady Corbet weaves in an unique manner, on the backdrop of the Versailles Peace Treaty, a story that sets out to be a true psychoanalysis of the leading character, a little boy tormented by the demons of his time, which are to turn him into a future dictator. Stars like Robert Pattinson, Bérénice Bejo and Stacy Martin are among the cast of this feature honoured in Venice with Best Debut Award and Orizzonti Award for Directing, within the Festival Avant-garde.
Seven new features were selected in the competition, with strong messages focusing on current political issues: Durak (directed by Yuriy Bykov, Russia), Brother Dejan/ Brat Deyan (directed by Bakur Bakuradze, Russia - Serbia), Rabin, The Last Day (directed by Amos Gitai, Israel-France), Made in France: Inside the Cell (directed by Nicolas Boukhrief, France), The White Knights/ Les Chevaliers Blancs (directed by Joachim Lafosse, Belgium, France, 2015), Honey NightMedena nok (directed by Ivo Trajkov, Macedonia) and Memories of the Wind (directed by Özcan Alper, Turcia-Germany-France-Georgia).
