
The screening is scheduled on 28 July 2016, from 19.00, at SALT Galata, one of the most prestigious and imposing contemporary art institutions of Istanbul, located in the historical headquarters of the Ottoman Bank of Karaköy, now turned into a museum. SALT Galata hosts exhibition spaces, libraries, including book restoration and digitising workshops, an auditorium hall, book stores, conference and workshop halls.
The film depicts a period in Romania's history when Western movies were available only on video cassettes smuggled into the country and distributed illegally.
The production was nominated at important world festivals, among which: Edinburgh Film Festival (Best Documentary) and Sundance Film Festival (Grand Prize).
