Brudina will be screened, a film directed by Dragoș Mihai Hanciu, about solitude, death, love and destiny, inspired by Greek mythology, which will be followed at 18:30 by
Românești, directed by Artur Borusz, a documentary about the cave in the locality of Românești, a space of therapy through art. From 19:00,
Călușarii din Bârla (The Căluș Dancers of Bârla), directed by Adriana Oprea, will present the ritualist dimension of the Căluș, a mystical, esoteric dance turned into a festive propaganda dance. The evening will end with
Pașaport de Germania (German Passport), directed by
Răzvan Georgescu. The feature talks about the secret arrangement between West Germany and the Romanian Communist Secret Police through which Ceaușescu sold approximately 250,000 de German ethnics.
On Saturday, the screenings will be carried on with the documentary feature
Afară (Outside), directed by
Andrei Schwartz, a film about guilt and conscience, and with
Roboțelul de aur (The Golden Little Robot), made by Mihai Dragolea and Radu Mocanu, presenting the story of the multiple European and international boxing champion, Steluța Duță. The evening will end with the screening, at 20:15, of
Aliyah DaDa, directed by
Oana Giurgiu, a document film bearing Dadaist visual marks, honouring two Romanian-born Jews, pioneers of the Dadaist style - Tristan Tzara and Marcel Iancu.
