On Tuesday, 4 October, from 11.00, in the Great Hall of the Romanian Cultural Institute in Bucharest, the debate “Recovery of memory: the house of George Enescu from Mihăileni” will be held, organised within the Colloquia “People of the Time”.
In the opening of the event, a documentary film will be presented, made in August in Mihăileni, where, at the initiative of Pro Patrimonio Foundation, in partnership with the Romanian Architects Order, the Town Hall of Mihăileni Commune and the Town Hall of Hilișeu Horia Commune, a group work was organised in order to repair Enescu house, with tens of volunteers from the locality of Hilișeu Horia, Botoșani County.
The event will be attended by: Raluca Știrbăț, chairman of International Society “George Enescu” in Vienna, Alexandru Tomescu, violinist, Ph. D. Prof. Daniel Șandru, secretary of state, coordinator of the Centenary Department, honorary director of the contemporary culture magazine
Timpul, Șerban Sturdza, architect, chairman of the Romanian Architects Order, Bucharest subsidiary, vice president of Pro Patrimonio Foundation, Ph. D. Prof. Mihai Cosma, musicology expert. The debate will be moderated by Cristina Liberis, regional manager of “People of the Time” Campaign.
