Câini/Dogs, the first full-length feature by director
Bogdan Mirică, will be internationally premiered on Sunday, 15 May, at Debussy Hall within Cannes Festivals Palace.

The film will be simultaneously part of two competitions: Un Certain Regard and Camera d’Or. The Camera d’Or Trophy is awarded to the best debut within the official selection. The red carpet gala premiere, at 11.15, is to be attended by the following: director and screenwriter Bogdan Mirică, actor
Vlad Ivanov and director of photography
Andrei Butică. At 16.30, the same day, the screening for the journalists present at Cannes will be held.

chaired by actress Marthe Keller, and is made up of directors Diego Luna, Ruben Östlund, Jessica Hausner and of actress Céline Sallette
. The Camera d’Or Jury is chaired by director Catherine Corsini.
Immediately after Cannes, the Romanian thriller will be nationally premiered in, with the crew attending, at the Film Transilvania International Film Festival, where it competes for the Transilvania Trophy.
The film will be distributed to Romanian theatres by Transilvania Film.
