Transilvania International Film Festival (TIFF) returns to Sibiu, during 22 – 26 June 2016, with its 10th Edition.

The anniversary edition will kick off on Wednesday, 22 June, from 22.00, with the feature
Câini/Dogs (directed by
Bogdan Mirică), winner of the Transilvania 2016 Trophy and one of the most appreciated Romanian productions of the year.

Ilegitim/Illegitimate (directed by
Adrian Sitaru),
Cinema, mon amour (
directed by Alexandru Belc),
Afacerea Est/Eastern Affair (directed by
Igor Cobileanski),
Orizont/Horizon (directed by
Marian Crișan) and
Dincolo de calea ferată/Beyond the Railway (directed by
Cătălin Mitulescu).
Furthermore, because all football fans are watching the European Football Championship, TIFF Sibiu scheduled two special screenings:
Ascensiunea lui Zlatan/ Becoming Zlatan (directed by Frederik & Magnus Gertten), a documentary about the most prolific Swedish football player, , Zlatan Ibrahimovićm, and
Pelé: Birth of a Legend (directed by Jeff & Michael Zimbalist), a film about the life of the famous Brazilian football player.
At Habitus Bookstore, children will be able to enjoy a section of the festival dedicated exclusively to them. At EducaTIFF, children will have the opportunity to view, on Saturday and Sunday from 11.00, the films:

Amy, a moving film on the life of singer Amy Winehouse,

Imagini din vis/Dream Images (directed by Sorin Luca), on the founder of electronic music in Romania, Rodion G.A., and
Never Ending Story (directed by Remus Achim), the story of one of the first great concerts of Loredana after the Revolution, the show entitled Love.
