The 14th Edition of the “EU Film Days” European Film Festival will be held in Tokyo and Kyoto, during 18 June -15 July 2016.

The event was organised for the first time in 2003, and ever since then it has been held each year. Starting in 2007, the event has been set up by the National Film Centre (NFC), which is part of the Museum of Modern Art in Tokyo, and this year is to screen 30 European films.
This year, the organisers proposed the participation of Romania with the feature
Câinele japonez/The Japanese Dog (2013), directed by
Tudor Cristian Jurgiu. The screenings will take place at the National Film Centre (NFC) and at the Museum of Modern Art in Tokyo.
The Romanian Cultural Institute is partners with the “EU Film Days” European Film Festival.
