Docuart and the Romanian Cultural Institute (ICR) announce the debut of the Fine Arts Film Festival, Bucharest Art Film Festival (8 - 11 September, 2016) at the Romanian Farmers' Museum Cinema. The event intends to bring to light the best films made all over the world on art, photography, collectors and artist from all media. The programme includes screenings and a series of related events (masterclass sessions and debates, exhibitions and special events). This first edition of the Art Festival is dedicated to Constantin Brâncuși.

ain knowledge on, come closer and gain insight into Brâncuși work, the film, mainly documentary essay, brings Constantin Brâncuși inBucharest during this first edition and maybe in the future we will see, through new cinema productions, a bunch of other events that the Târgu Jiu authorities should be more consistently concerned with”, Radu Boroianu, Chairman of the Romanian Cultural Institute, stated.
The event is being set up
by Docuart Cultural Association and bythe Romanian Cultural Institute(ICR), in partnership with the Romanian Filmmakers Union (UCIN). The Festival targets, among others, the promoting and raising awareness on the national art products, the promoting of art film creations and the resurfacing of the heritage left to the Romanian society by Constantin Brâncuși. Docuart is, once again, making available the free of charge admission throughout the event.
