Give Me Liberty, directed by the Russian-born American director Kirill Mikhanovsky, which caught the attention in Sundance and at Cannes, complete the selection of the 15th edition of the Bucharest International Film Festival (BIFF), which will take place from June 24 to 30, 2019, at the Peasant Museum Cinema, ElvirePopesco Cinema si the Garden with films – Cinema&More.

The second dive into film directing of the French actor Louis Garrel, A Faithful Man (2018), won last year the Best Screenplay Award (written by Garrel together with Jean-Claude Carrière) at the San Sebastian Film festival. The film is included in the BIFF section Focus France. Marianne (Laetitia Casta) leaves Abel (Louis Garrel) for Paul, Abel`s best friend and the father of her unborn child. Eight years later, Paul dies
. Abel and Marianne start a relationship which inflame the jealousy of Joseph (Marianne`s son) and of Eve (Paul`s sister) who had been in love with Abel since she was a little girl. For playing this part, Lily-Rose Depp received one nomination for the Best Female Hope at the Cesar Awards 2019.
