Alter-Native 28. – another location, another date, but the same quality

Despite the coronavirus pandemic, the Alter-Native International Short Film Festival is not cancelled, it only changes adapting itself to the regulations and measures imposed by the current epidemiological situation.
This year the 28 th edition of the festival taking place in Tîrgu-Mureş changes its location, it moves from the Culture Palace to the Summer Theatre and it will take place from October 7 to 11, not at the beginning of November, as we were used.
Because of this pandemic, the number of films submitted to the competition is slightly smaller compared to the previous years, but even in these conditions, it was bigger than 800. Out of the submitted productions, the pre-selection jury will choose the ones that will enter the competition.
The festival programme will also include feature films, concerts, performances or exhibitions. This time, the members of the jury will not be at the venue, they will
watch the films and they will deliberate online.
Because of the restrictions, the access will be made with tickets for one day. There will not be festival passes for all the 5 days of the festival.
More details regarding the events and the purchase of the tickets will be announced in the next weeks.
